Marriage

Anyone contemplating marriage in the Catholic Church must be a practicing Catholic. Father must be contacted before a date can be set or halls rented. The Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph requires a nine-month preparation period, which includes a THRIVE weekend,  Engaged Encounter plus NFP, or Lead Couple preparation. Baptism

May be arranged for Saturday or Sunday.

At least one parent must be a practicing Catholic. At least one God Parent must be a baptized and practicing Catholic and at least 16 years of age.

The second God Parent may be a baptized practicing Christian. Please contact the Parish Office for a date and other information as soon as possible.


First Communion (First Eucharist)

This Sacrament is usually completed during the students 2nd grade year.  The student must be at least 7 years of age, baptized and have received their 1st reconciliation  Please call the parish office with any questions regarding this Sacrament. This needs to be done as soon as possible.


Confirmation

This Sacrament is usually completed in the Sophomore grade of high school. The student must have been baptized and received their 1st Communion (or receiving their 1st Communion at the time of Confirmation).  Again, please call the parish office with any questions regarding this Sacrament.
